Piping a headline out of wasabi, hand-carving letters from blocks of cheese, and passing a crash course in Arabic calligraphy earned me the unofficial title of Distraction Magazine’s “Lettering Queen.” With my official title of Co-Art Director, I strived to push the boundaries of what people thought a college publication was capable of.
